Downtown Prattville was bustling Thursday night with the official lighting of the City Tree and a dusting of snow.

Skaters enjoyed the “Ice” skating park, while visitors strolled the Autauga Creek Christmas Tree Trail.

The festive atmosphere in downtown Prattville resembled a Christmas movie set, drawing in crowds of shoppers.

Why did the math book go to Prattville?

Because it heard there were a lot of problems to solve!

 

The new Prattville Kindergarten School is set to open in January 2025, creating excitement among students and families.

Virtual work will commence from January 6-14, with students returning to in-person classes on January 15.

The comprehensive schedule includes sight word review, reading exercises, addition practice, and winter-themed social sciences lessons.

An Open House on January 13 offers families a chance to tour the new campus, including classrooms, gym, library, and more.

Smooth morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures are in place, with car riders picked up in front of the building.

Additional resources include a special book, "Little Tree," and online read-along sessions with the school counselor, Mrs. Rachel Clark.

Parents are encouraged to attend a Transition Tips Webinar and share their child's feelings with school administrators.

Any questions or concerns can be addressed to school administrators via email.
